Salland Engineering is a privately owned, international technology company, specialising in products and services that enable semiconductor manufacturers to improve the efficiency and quality of their testing. We have been in business since 1992 and currently have more than 100 employees worldwide.

Semiconductor solutions and expertise

We allow our customers to achieve lower test costs, higher quality and reliability, improved test floor efficiencies, faster time-to-market and streamlined interfaces from their supply chain. Our solutions are delivered via a unique combination of hardware, software and test applications expertise. This enables us to offer the optimum solution to our customers who want to improve their test processes.

High density instruments

We design and manufacture high-quality instruments that are used by our customers to upgrade the power or channel density of their automatic test equipment (ATE). These instruments provide a cost-effective means for our customers to extend the throughput and life span of their ATE investments.

Software products for offline analysis, online data capture and factory automation capabilities

We offer a comprehensive suite of software tools that are used by our customers to improve their test processes. Our tools are modular and highly scalable. They provide offline analysis, online data capture and factory automation capabilities.

Our software provides users with a common view of their test data regardless of what equipment is in use or where the test floor is located. We have more than 2,000 dynamic test cell controllers and over 1,000 SwifTest monitors.

Test applications

Salland provides a wide range of engineering services, including test programme development and conversions, test programme optimisation, load board development, pilot line production and failure analysis. We have our own testers and analysis equipment on-site for this business segment. We have delivered more than 700 turnkey test applications since we were established.

Customer support

Our customers include leading integrated device manufacturers (IDMs) and fab-less semiconductor manufacturers. We also deliver many solutions to the OSATS who support these manufacturers.

Finally, we are proud to partner with the leading ATE vendors in the semiconductor industry. Key customers include Infineon Technologies, Maxim Integrated Products, NXP Semiconductors, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments, Fairchild Semiconductor, Power Integrations, Qualcomm, Melexis, Bruco, Powervation, EPCOS and the major ATE manufactures, such as Teradyne, LTX / Credence and Advantest / Verigy.

We provide dependable support for all of our products on a worldwide basis. In 2011, we achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification in our Zwolle development centre in the Netherlands. We also have a development centre in Texas, US. In addition, we have sales and support centres in Texas, California, Italy, the UK, Singapore, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
