SCHMITT Chemical-Resistant Pumps for Semiconductor and Solar Wet Process Equipment
SCHMITT specialises in manufacturing industrial pumps for corrosive and hazardous liquids used in the semiconductor industry.
Industrial pumps for semiconductor equipment
SCHMITT pumps are engineered and built in the company’s plant in Ettlingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
SCHMITT produces chemical-resistant centrifugal pumps with a maximum motor power of 7.5kW / 5.5HP, and flows of up to 35m³/h / 155US gpm. The equipment is mainly manufactured from polypropylene (PP), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) or stainless steel.
The company provides products to suppliers of advanced wet process equipment and wet benches in the semiconductor industry.
Magnetic drive pumps
SCHMITT offers chemical-handling and environmental technologies for cleaning, etching, plating and chemical delivery, and lift stations.
Chemical-handling and environmental technologies are available for exhaust scrubbers, abatement and acid neutralisation systems, as well as water treatment units.
Tens of thousands of magnetic drive pumps from the MPN series have made the SCHMITT brand well-known in various industries worldwide.
The robust and simple design of the equipment is easy-to-install and provides hassle-free operation for a range of applications. Different elastomer and bearing materials can optimise resistance against aggressive media.
Silicone carbide bearings
SCHMITT’s silicon carbide bearings are suitable for high-purity applications and the standard PTFE/ceramics version is also available.
The T series of non-metallic vertical pumps are made in PP and PVDF, and the TE series vertical pumps are stainless steel. Both series feature a seal-less, wear-free design and can be customised with vapour barriers.
Spare parts for the semiconductor industry
SCHMITT’s integrated manufacturing processes, smart modular design concept and consistent application of lean manufacturing ensure short delivery times.
The company can provide more than 90% of its products in less than two weeks and offers a 24-hour express shipment option for pumps. Common spare parts are well-stocked and can be shipped within 24 hours.
About SCHMITT
SCHMITT has a team of experts that can help clients find the right pump type and correct materials, as well as give advice for applications.
Pumps are manufactured to a robust and simple design concept for a long field life. Before a pump is shipped, it goes through a test procedure to guarantee that all mechanical, hydraulic and electric functions are as specified.
The company’s quality management system has been certified according to ISO 9001 since 1998, and is being continuously improved.
SCHMITT has been producing industrial pumps for the last 50 years to more than 5,000 customers worldwide.
